GM Volt = 230 mpg

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

2011 Chevrolet Volt Production Show CarThats just what GM announced today with its Volt electric car which is a combination of electric motor and battery pack, rechargeable with a standard home outlet, as well as a small internal combustion engine. What number did they present to the public? How about 230 mpg! This, if confirmed by the EPA, would blow the Toyota Prius out of the water by over 5 times. If EPA results confirm this 3 digit fuel efficient vehicle and GM can promise on its delivery then there may be many new customers re-evaluating the American auto maker. Gm better ramp up on production if these numbers hold true, because the Chevrolet Volt will be the new icon of going Green!

Cash For Clunkers Extended

Friday, August 7th, 2009

As your Oklahoma Auto Dealer we are excited to let you know that there is still time to take advantage of the Cash For Clunkers program.

Perhaps one of the most successful programs to come from the stimulus package was recently extended. With an infusion of an extra $2 billion for the program car buyers and dealers have some breathing room to work with. The Cash For Clunkers program allows consumers to trade in their less than fuel efficient vehicle for a brand new fuel efficient vehicle, receiving up to $4500 for their old clunker.

The initial $1 billion set aside for the program ran out in a matter of days but thanks to fast acting Congressional members from both the House and Senate (both sides of the aisle I might add) the Cash For Clunkers program will continue to run.
